PRACTICALLY ORIENTED APPROACH TRAINING OF FUTURE SOCIAL WORK PROFESSIONALS: POLISH EXPERIENCE

Abstract

Introduction. The article describes the main imperatives of a practice-oriented approach to training future social work specialists in higher education in the Republic of Poland. Considering the pan-European trend, the author draws attention to certain aspects of research into social worker training in the Polish higher education system, which is based on the close relationship between its two components – the theory and practice of social work. Purpose. Formulation of the purpose of the article: to characterize the main imperatives of a practice-oriented approach to training future social work specialists in higher education in the Republic of Poland. Methods: logical-systemic – aimed at disclosing strategies for the development of practical training of social workers in the Republic of Poland; structural-comparative - in order to systematize the scientific literature, program documents and compare their content; historical-comparative – in order to compare events, phenomena and facts in their historical development. Results. The preparedness of future social workers is defined as an individual-group result of professional training, characterized by: optimality in relation to the existing subject-subject conditions of practical training in the educational process, real ability to successfully carry out future activities according to the state standard, practical readiness to perform the tasks of a social worker in the conditions of activity of social sphere institutions. It has been studied that a practice-oriented approach ensures purposeful joint activity of the teacher and the future specialist in the social sphere, contributes to the improvement of content, forms, methods, techniques independent activity with the aim of forming positive learning motivation, increasing professional competence based on the development of personal qualities in the process of professional training. Originality. A comparative analysis of educational programs for training social workers in Polish higher education allows us to note the main emphases of the practice-oriented approach, which are aimed at the variability and mobility of the teacher and student, self-study and practical orientation in the educational process towards the future qualification of a social worker. Conclusion. The leading imperatives of a practice-oriented approach in the educational process of Polish universities for the self-realization of future social sphere specialists have been identified. The specifics of the practical direction of training social workers in higher education in the Republic of Poland are characterized, which is provided by a set of basic principles of training, regulated by the regulatory framework and determined by the direction of the educational process on the implementation of practice-oriented forms and methods of learning aimed at interaction with the student, internally motivated independent activity and selfrealization, and achieving success.
